The basis of existence is love. The love between pets, especially dogs and their humans, is extraordinary. Out of great love toward their owners and out of fear of losing them, dogs often take on the burdens or even the illnesses of their human companions. Owners often subconsciously project their wishes, flaws, fears, and needs onto their pets.
